Meet Steph
Hi, I’m Steph Sanders
L.Ac, MCM, Dipl.Ac
I’m a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese medicine herbalist passionate about helping people feel more connected to their bodies through personalized, compassionate care.
My path to acupuncture started in an unexpected way — through my late rescue dog, Stella. When she received acupuncture to support a physical deformity as a puppy, I was amazed by the changes I saw and became curious about this medicine. Around the same time, I was navigating my own experiences with anxiety and discovering how acupuncture could support my own wellbeing. Those experiences inspired me to pursue Chinese medicine professionally after years of working in Western healthcare.
I have studied or worked in healthcare for over a decade and during that time earned my Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2020.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find me listening to 90’s hip hop, trying new restaurants, exploring local spots, or spending time with my rescue dogs, Ozzie and Ginger. I’m always happy to exchange pet stories, share food recommendations, and laugh along the way.
I’m excited to be part of your health journey and I can’t wait to meet you!
