Thank you for taking the time to review our clinic policies. These guidelines help create a respectful, supportive experience for all patients while allowing Ancient Ways Acupuncture to provide the highest quality care.

Appointment & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Ancient Ways Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine requires at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the scheduled service fee. This fee may be charged to the card on file or deducted from a prepaid package, if applicable.

Appointments are considered missed if you have not arrived within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time and have not contacted the clinic.

If a missed or late-cancelled appointment is rescheduled within 7 days, the cancellation fee may be waived at the practitioner’s discretion.

Exceptions may be considered for true emergencies, including medical emergencies, family emergencies, or severe weather.

To help maintain a healthy environment for both patients and practitioners, please contact the clinic if you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, including fever, COVID-19, influenza, vomiting, diarrhea, or other acute infections.

Depending on your symptoms, rescheduling may be recommended. Illness-related cancellation fees will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
